Privacy Policy.
Effective Date: March 24, 2026. Your trust is our most valuable asset. Below is how PagePilot handles your data and Facebook integrations.
1. Information We Collect
When you use PagePilot, we collect information necessary to provide social media management services:
- Facebook Profile Information: Name, Profile Picture, and User ID via Facebook Login.
- Page Metadata: When you sync nodes, we store Page Names, Categories, Follower Counts, and unique Identifiers.
- Facebook Access Tokens: We store encrypted User and Page access tokens (non-expiring) to perform actions on your behalf.
- Content Assets: Message drafts, uploaded media (images/videos), and campaign settings.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used strictly for the operation of the PagePilot service:
- Publishing Content: We use your tokens to transmit scheduled posts to your selected Facebook Pages.
- Analytics & Metrics: We aggregate reach, likes, and engagement data via the Graph API to build your performance dashboards.
- AI Generation: Your campaign briefs may be processed via Google Gemini API to generate content suggestions (prompts are shared with the AI provider).
3. Data Retention & Deletion
PagePilot believes you should always be in control of your digital footprint:
- Manual Deletion: You can disconnect your pages or delete specific media assets at any time within your dashboard.
- Full Account Deletion: Users may request permanent deletion of their account and all associated data by contacting our support team or via the account settings.
- Facebook Revocation: You can revoke PagePilot access directly from your Facebook App Settings at any time, which immediately invalidates all stored tokens.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard AES-256 encryption for all Facebook Access Tokens at rest. Your connection to PagePilot is secured via SSL/TLS encryption. We never share or sell your social media data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
